Persian Rug Repair by Master Rug Weavers

The art of Persian rug weaving is an example of a hand weave born before history, which lives on, owing nothing to modern western World. They are not woven against time. Each knot is carefully, patiently tied; each row is meticulously tamped down with a metal comb and another row built upon it. And, always, just beneath the level of the hands, the pattern develops resplendently, until finally, this vibrant, enduring hand woven Persian rug is completed and has locked in its web of wool a timeless charm and beauty.

Whether your taste is for tribal Persian rugs, smaller old Persian rugs woven to please the nomand weaver, or the more formal city rugs that were influenced by Master Weaver's craftmanship, it is clear that each is a work of art. When looking at an old Persian rug, you can almost see the past, for the art of selecting a Persian rug is a very personal matter. The most important distinctions to be made here are those of the heart. Like any art form, your choice reflects your likes and tastes and your purchases become a part of your life. Persian rugs should have the slogan instead of the Diamond industry because Persian rugs last forever withe proper maintenance and care.

Preserve Your Antique Rug With A Passion

Preservation of antique rugs, carpets and blankets is important and it is especially true of old Persian rugs. Too often people fail to see the value in old Persian rugs, and many are unfortunately neglected and allowed to deteriorate. With all that said, all you need now is Passion of Persia's special Master Weaver techniques and care. The key to keeping your Persian rugs for posterity is, of course, maintenance, and caring for them should be a priority.

Keeping Persian rugs clean is one of the most important things that you can do. Walking on a dirty rug allows the soil particles cut the Persian wool fibers and causes the Persian rug to wear more quickly. Hand Washing will make the colors brighter and the wool softer, as well as helping to make your Persian rug last longer. Oriental rugs should always be washed by hand with natural soap and Distill, reverse osmosis water (not chemicals, not in-home, not steam clean, NOT "by a guy in a warehouse, beware a proper hand cleaning prevents damages while an improper cleaning can cause more expensive damages").

Once this step has been completed, Master Weavers spread your rug out and gently scrub it on both sides with a soft horse tail brush and natural soap. Rinse with cold distill, reverse osmosis water and put the rug back into a vat to have our patent up-wards jacuzzi hand cleaning soak. After a short time, of Passion of Persia jacuzzi soak, our Master Weaver will complete a final rinse once more with cold distill, reverse osmosis water, that is recycled for our next soakings only. You might need to use several changes of our special water depending on how much dirt is in your Persian rug.

The inner beauty and passion of a truly clean Persian rug will amaze you, once done properly by our Master Weavers. Their elements of design are like notes in a melody written by Bach, or Mozart. only as these are individually understood, interpreted, and assembled is their meaning made clear. Proper Persian rug care will return a superior product with out any of the risk.
